Verticold is a division of Meriton Industries, a storage systems company founded in 2004. We specialize in cold chain solutions for the food, pharma and medical industries. Our manufacturing facility is located on 60,000 square feet of land. The technical expertise behind our vertical, high density storage solution began with our first rack-supported fridge and freezer project. An industry breakthrough, this project was allowed our client to store aircraft pallets in a much smaller footprint than normal. The design of this groundbreaking installation avoided the usual costly construction and drawbacks of the standard, drive-in fridge and freezer.

The success of this new design led us to develop the Chiller Tower, a modular unit that can be shipped out on a standard flatbed truck. This concept brings an incredibly practical solution to a long standing challenge in the cold chain industry; maintaining critical products such as vaccines, medications and food within their recommended temperature zone at all points during the transport and storage process. From there, we went on to develop the Cart to Consumer concept, an innovative way to save incredible amounts of time when fulfilling large amounts of ecommerce orders.
